Monday Monday Monday...

It's a new week...a new week to have fun and make more memories. I have fun plans this week, I can't wait to share them at the end. But before we do that, this outfit is what I wore yesterday, because right now as you are reading this I'm catching some zzz's after I worked a grave last night. I would have posted it yesterday but then I thought...you won't have anything to read for tomorrow...so here is your fun little outfit post!


 Do you want to hear my favorite part of this whole outfit...this skirt I'm wearing is really a dress. I finally tried the 'turn the dress into a skirt' trick and I can give myself a little bit of credit for being creative, which I feel I'm never very creative with my outfits. One more thing I love about my outfit is my cuff I'm' wearing has a map of NYC subway on it, I freakin love it!

Dress- Forever 21, Jacket-Lucky, Shoes-Forever Young Shoes, Shirt-old, possibly Wet Seal, Cuff- designhypeinc.com but bought off Fab.com(let me know if you want an invite, coolest site around!)
Alright here is my weekly schedule!
Monday-Sleep then go back to work
Tuesday-Sleep then eat dinner @ my parents YUM
Wednesday-no plans but later that night take a drive to see Golden Spike National Historic Site(State monument where the railroads met from east to west...which I'm way excited about!!) This place has kinda been one of those places I just want to check off my To See in UT checklist, that's why I'm excited about it!
Thursday- Bachlorette Party that night!!
Friday- On call so maybe work
Saturday- Work a grave

So If i'm not to groggy on tues I'll see you then...if not I'll see you for sure on Wednesday.

Sorry no outfit post, I just didn't have time today. Today has been spent running errand after errand after errand...you all know what that feels like, exhausting!! A couple of highlights from my day though

* Listed a school book on amazon and sold it in 4 hours! Woot Woot 
* Found a new restaurant downtown that I decided to stop at and have a bite to eat, Su Casa so yummy!
* Bought new Danskos for my poor feet, no more 12 hours shifts and my feet crying for help
* Cleaned the house :)
* Made dinner for the 2nd time in 3 days, I'm on a roll and the Hubs loves me even more now!


I did want to ask the few people that contacted me about the lunch if we could do a weekday? Tell me what you think??

Sleepy and from lack of sleep equals sick


Hey guys! Just got done with a couple of night shifts and man I have felt so sick from sleeping in the day and staying up all night. This hasn't happened to me before and it was very annoying!! Anyways no outfit post today but a small little look at my new ride! It's not quite complete but it's more than 90% done and ridable! I freakin love it and can't wait for summer to cruise around!

Wednesday-sleep then work
Thursday-sleep then work
Friday sleep then possibly work(I'm on call)
Saturday- not sure yet, but day off

Super Sunday!


Saturday night I worked a grave, got home Sunday morning then after showering finally got to bed around 0830. I was woken up about 1:30pm to get ready for church. Can I just say I was stinkin tired. 5 hours of sleep is just not enough for me, or maybe it's not the actual amount of sleep but the lounging around I missed out on after I woke up. That's my favorite part about working graves, you have a GREAT excuse of why your in your pjs all day long and people totally agree with you! 


Anyways here is my Sunday attire. Love the new colorful pieces I added to my collections the other day, sure I overspent by way too much but oh well I've really enjoyed them. This skirt is from Target also(as were my yellow mellow pants I wore the other day). Its a great skirt because 1. The color 2. The length and 3. The fabric-it's slightly stretchy! I love stretchy clothes!

I'm back and still alive!!


Hey guys I survived my 3 grave shifts in a row and have a couple pictures to show you. I took a few iPhone/mirror pictures of my outfit today. It's really not that exciting but I do love the simplicity and motorcycle shirt I'm wearing! I tried to dress it up with curly hair and red lips. Other than that nice and comfy was the key!

My other picture is of the orange chair I bought from the DI for $10. Do you guys remember it? Well I went to the reupholster guy and picked up some other chairs and saw it. It was 99% done but I beat the girl who was to sew the cushion on. So I'll have to bring it home another day :( it turned out so awesome and I'm so excited that it did. It's going to look amazing in my living room!


Ok I'm off to bed because guess what...I work another grave tonight! The rest of the week is as follows...

Wednesday- sleep and then homework
Thursday- no plans :)
Friday- I work a grave
Saturday- sleep then no plans!

I'll possibly post tomorrow but most of the time after a grave I dont get ready. No point it's always 3 or 4 in the afternoon. Lol, but plan on a post on Thursday with better than iPhone quality pictures. And I'll show you my new kitchen table and chairs!!

Happy February!!

Welcome February 1st!! Yippee I'm so excited for a few things this month. One being Valentines Day of coarse and the other going on the cruise in like 3 weeks!! For Valentines Day my house has been getting a splash of pink here and there. That's right I've been crafty lol! It's been a ton of fun!



Going back to the cruise I will be gone for a whole week and will be needing a few people who would like to guest post for me. If you are interested send me an email.

Well tomorrow is my complete day off and so excited to do....homework lol! Actually I'll probably catch up on my episode of Jane by Design and sit in my pjs for awhile and just relax! Sounds great can't wait! Hope you guys have a great night!

Nursing Scare

Wow I had a crazy weekend, I was assisting the doc while he was intubating my patient and the patients blood pressure tanked. Tanked as in systolic down to 40 (normal is 120)!! Man if I didn't have my charge nurses help I would be stressing out of my mind, but everything went well and the patient is doing fine.

Other than work the past 2 days I decided today that I was going to try my hand at making the Vietnamese soup Pho. Im hoping that being half Asian will give me the upper hand on that. I'll tell you how it goes.

This is my outfit today. I am wearing my new shoes and cardi. I love the color of this cardi and got it from Target on sale for $8! Woot woot for sales!!

Wednesday-nothing until I scrapbook with my mom later on that night
Thursday-lunch with Kristy and then work a grave
Friday-hopefully sleep until 2 then chillin
