Amara Day Spa Blogger Event with host Jade Wadey

The lovely lady Jade Wadey (@Jadeywadey180) and the amazing team of Amara Day Spa with Sodalicious and The Wild Zucchini Grill put on an amazing blogger event back in July.

I was so lucky to have been invited to enjoy the amazing company of all them plus bloggers from all over Utah. The event included a free service, fun photo booth, super cute boutique, a few giveaways, and enough time to mingle with old and make new friends. One of my favorite things about this event was that everyone was so friendly and not one blogger acted 'high and mighty' believe it or not but the blogger world can feel a little like high school drama…pretty hard to believe huh?

Guess what!? Amanda from Recycled Design and myself won something! That's a first for me :)

Fall Fashion Fusion Event

Hey all! This friday is Fashion Place Malls Fall Fashion Fusion Event! I attended this event last year and truly enjoyed the fashion show that featured clothes from store in Fashion Place Mall. This year I think it will be even better, along with last years line up it sounds like there will be also the Salt Lake Community College Fashion Institute AND art from fashion photography and art from Art Meets Fashion! The Shine Project

Whoa! When I heard The Shine Project was coming to Utah I instantly wanted to go take part of this event and help a great company. The Shine Project employees low income American youth to hand make trendy bracelets to help them pay their way through college. Since I spent 10 years in college, I know how much it can cost and had to help out. The only problem I've occurred is that I won't be in town for this can I just insert a huge frowning face with a tear! But I figured I'd still share with my buddies and pals about it. A lot of local bloggers will be there, a lot of amazing jewelry, and a chance to win a $25 gift card to Threads by The Shine Project & $25 Soel Boutique is happening this week! Check out @theshineproject on IG for updates! Wish I could be there, but vaca is calling. Everyone have a blast for me!

Aveda at City Creek

Its weird having my face be so big on the blog...we are down sizing this pic ;)

Last week I was invited to be a guest at the Aveda store in City Creek Center. While I was there I got a lovely make over by the amazing blogger Gentri Lee using their fun new fall colors and products.
I also learned a lot about this amazing company and their amazing products. Did you know that every ingredient that Aveda uses in their product comes right from our own earth or can be put safely back into our earth. Also they are mindful of what they use to package their products with. Their packaging is all made from 100% post consumer recycled product. They are always striving to decrease their environmental footprint which is why their company is completely powered with certified wind power. Isn't that amazing! Sorry I just got all excited.
There are so many physical benefits to using Aveda's products, but it also has to make you feel amazing when you know you are also decreasing your environmental footprint every time you apply your Mosscara! No typo there, they really have mascara made with moss. I tried it, it's fantastic!
I had such a blast and recommend everyone to run to the nearest Aveda store!

Fun with Apricot Lane

If you didn't know already...which all of you should have known because of the giveaway....but they did a fun Summer Fashion Event & Blogger Mingle. It was a blast! I got to see the Utah County bloggers (most bloggers are from utah county, ps) again. I really enjoy all those girls, too bad they live so far away. Along with those ones I did know, I got to meet ones I haven't met yet (Not going to lie best part of blogging, meeting new people). I didn't take pictures this time around. Alittle blogger secret, everyone usually brings their cameras but usually only one person uses it and everyone else 'steals' (with permission of coarse) those photos.
