So my dad immigrated when he was 11 years old. So he pretty much grew up with more of an American culture than a Vietnamese culture.
As I was growing up he never really brought his Vietnamese culture into my life.
But I've brought a little of the culture into my own life.
For example, when Jeff and I got married we had a Vietnamese ceremony.

Friday Confessions:

I'm a girly girly on the outside but at heart I'm a big tom boy!

This doesn't mean that I don't love dressing up, I don't love wearing heels, and I don't love shopping! This just means that I also really really enjoy things that men do. Like fixing cars, shooting guns, fishing, camping, and mowing the lawn. Yep you read right, I enjoy mowing the lawn (My husband is one lucky duck!)

This Fridays Confessions comes from the inspiration of this massive snow storm that just happened here in SLC. I think outside my house we have shoveled twice, been around the block 4 times doing donuts, and have received about a foot of snow. This snow means...AMAZING POWDER ON THE SLOPES!!

I've been on the slopes ever since I was 4 years old, whether it was on ski's or on a snowboard. I love love love the snow and I'm so excited that I have this weekend off! Kind of wish I had tomorrow off, but I don't, instead I'll be stuck in the hospital :(

Can you believe it's already Friday? This week my days are all screwed up because the holidays! 

Well Today's Friday Confessions has to do with the holidays, but more the fact that...

I love decorating for the holidays but I love even more putting the decorations away the weekend after Christmas!

It's something about my home homeostasis being all screwed up that puts me in a rush to put things back fast. Am I weird? I know a ton of people who LOVE holiday decor and could leave it up all year round...or do and just decorate the tree for all different holidays (Yes I'm not kidding I know someone who does this) Anyway, I'm going to put my Christmas stuff away now. Outfit post tomorrow before I work my life away (4 graveyard shifts in a row...FOUR! I'm going to die!!!)

I can't say I thought of this new Friday post idea by myself. No actually I wish I could give the person on IG credit for the idea but I have no idea who that person is, So to the random person who gave me the idea, thank you!

Now onto the new Friday post idea, my confession for the day:

I HATE Feet!

Yet, I chose a profession where I have to touch them every shift I go into. Not to mention that alot of the people who I care for might be from the homeless community and these feet ARE NOT PRETTY! Diabetic feet can be pretty ugly too, especially if they are none compliant diabetic. 

Thank goodness for the invention of gloves!
