Don't you think that bike is amazing? My hubby is so talented. He rebuilt it from an old bike, and it turned out so good. He has quite the eye for things like this. Now that I've shared with you my amazing talented husband lets talk about my cozy sweater. It reminds me of Mr Rogers and that just puts a smile on my face. Hope it makes you smile too! 
Can you believe that it's the last day of Sept? I love fall and I love Halloween Decorations! I'm so excited to decorate my house this year. I'll have to post some pictures once I decorate it.

Life of a Nurse:Working Graveyards along with OOTD

I started my month of graves this week, man it's really screwed me up.
Here are some downfalls about working graveyards.
1. No matter how long you sleep during the day, you wake up feeling groggy and still tired
2. You miss all activities that happen during the day because you are sleeping
3. Staying awake all night messes up your natural circadian rhythm so you can't sleep during the night either
4. You end up drinking a lot of caffeine whether it's tea or soda which isn't healthy
5. You get sick during your shift because it's just not natural to eat meals in the middle of the night
Wow I'm not complaining at all...complete sarcasm....Working graves is just part of working the medical field and being so young in it. 
My usual routine when I work a graveyard is I get home around 0745, jump in the shower, and in bed by 0800. I then always wake up around 1200 and just lay around in my pj's the rest of the day. Well this morning I got home around 0830, showered and then was in bed around 0900 which then I laid there and couldn't sleep. I was suppose to have friends show up at my house around noon to go to the pool but decided not to because of how exhausted I was going to be. I ended up waking up at 1200 feeling nausea and extremely tired anyway. Then I sat in bed for 2 hours trying to sleep, nothing. 
Tonight I'll sleep great and be back to normal until Monday night when it will all start again. 
Oh the life of a nurse :)

What do you do when your shoes break mid-day?

You go buy new ones of coarse!
That is exactly what I did.
I had to go up to the hospital and get some required learning done so I can get my raise at the end of the year, and while in the hospital my shoe straps broke! Umm nasty nasty in the hospital! There is no way I would ever go bare foot there. So I walked like an idiot to my car and from my car to the shoe department of Nordstrom. Once I got to the shoe department I took my shoes off and asked to try on a few pairs. Yes, I walked around the shoe department bare foot, but it's better than falling on my face in the middle of Nordstrom! 
These are the shoes I picked out. Love them! Plus they are comfy!

New Hair

I decided to try the leather pants in the winter. I was worried that I would be freezing.
It's not too bad, although I do have a pair of North Face leggings on underneath them. I defiantly wouldn't have survived without those leggings. I get cold just sitting on my leather couches. 

Got my hair done! FINALLY! It was much needed, I mean my bangs were clear down past my nose. My hairdresser was laughing and making fun of me. Doesn't getting your hair done just make you feel like a new woman? It's the greatest thing ever!
