I've been wanting to try out the whole 'I borrowed my husbands/boyfriends shirt' outfit but let me ask you an important question. Are there certain rules to this sort of outfit? Does your significant other have to be only one size bigger than you for it to work (you wear a S and he wears a M)?

Well i tried out this sort of outfit today with my husbands thermal shirt and i belted it, wore some leggings with it and boots. But I'm not too sure about it. It's all bunched up in the back kinda like a a train on a dress. I don't think it looks bad, maybe just different. Tell me what you think from that description...

Oh PS thanks honey for sharing your clothes, even when we both know i have way too many of my own!

i struggle with this very problem... my hubby is 13 inches taller and 110lbs heavier so it hardly ever works out... my biggest problem is the shoulders, i am very petite and he has very broad shoulders and muscl-y arms i just look like i am swimming in his shirts... i do love to get my hands on his clothes and cut them up and re-size/re-make them for me (you get a lot of fabric from those huge shirts)
love you blog!

Thrifted finds- I say since you don't know how to pull the outfit off, just find something you feel is socially acceptable and you like and just go with it for the day! It took me a few days to find something an outfit i felt ok with. My sister-in-law gave me a really great deal on my extensions so i'm kinda a bad person to compare prices with.

Selina- I have that same problem with my hubby he wears a L and i wear a S or XS. But after wearing that outfit i decided i really liked wearing his thermals and as the day when by i got more confidence with it. That was until my hubby thought i looked kinda 80's...oh well good thing the 80's is back!

Meredith-I never thought about shopping in the mens section, i'll have to try it out. Thanks, i'm excited to be apart of the Mormon fashion blogger list!
